WINNSBORO – Fairfield Central hosted Chester Tuesday night in their first region meeting of the season. The Griffin girls won handily with a 41-21 final. Fairfield’s boys had their second one-point loss of the season, falling to Chester 41-42.
The two schools will meet again in Chester on Friday. Next week, Fairfield will face Lower Richland at home on Tuesday and away on Friday.
