BLYTHEWOOD – Fairfield County animal control officer Joe Shaw, left, and Teri Daughtry, right, vice president of the Hoof & Paw Benevolent Society, delivered this little Beagle, center, and six other Fairfield County shelter dogs (kenneled in the van) to Barrett Myers, a kennel worker at Blythewood Animal Hospital. There the dogs will be spayed and neutered with the hope of improving their appeal for adoption into loving homes. The spay and neutering is paid for by donations from Hoof & Paw.
“We are very committed to helping end over population of cats and dogs this year,” Kathy Faulk, president of Hoof and Paws said. And this is one of the best ways to do that.”
