BLYTHEWOOD – Westwood’s basketball program opened the 2020 season on Tuesday at Sumter High School. The girls trailed 26-20 at the half, and fell by a 33-47 final. Malayziah Etheredge put up a team-high 14 points in the loss. Westwood’s boys fell in overtime by a tight 48-50 score.
Both teams will host Sumter at The Castle on Friday and Spring Valley on Dec. 8. Tip off for both games is set for 7:30.
