WINNSBORO – Kathy Owens, left, owner of Owen’s Trucking in downtown Winnsboro, and her employees handed out 150 mask and glove packets to the public last month, first-come, first-served.
Owens placed an advertisement in The Voice, offering the masks and gloves to the public, free of charge. To receive them, residents rang the business doorbell and Owens, practicing social distancing, handed the mask/glove packets through the front door of her business with a long handled grabber.
“We were glad to give them out and the people were glad to get them,” Owens said.
