BLYTHEWOOD – The Rummel and Pottar families piled in the truck to take in a free drive-in movie at the rodeo grounds in Blythewood Saturday night. They joined 100 or so other families for Erica Page’s presentation of the movie, ‘Despicable Me,’ which began at 8:30 p.m.
Page, a mortgage loan officer with Lending Path Mortgage, said she, “just wanted to provide some type of joy and entertainment for the community during this rough time.” And she did just that.
Many of those who were not able to get one of the 110 free tickets are calling for the movie night to become a regular summer event for the community.
