WINNSBORO – With a pending graduation ceremony amid COVID-19 stay-at-home orders and upcoming Principal Appreciation Day, Richard Winn Academy held a parade last week to celebrate seniors and first-year Head of School Kristen Chaisson.
Richard Winn’s seniors were escorted down Old Chester Road in their cars and then paraded on foot through the parking lot before standing in designated spaces as the Richard Winn community drove by to wish them congratulations with signs and honking horns. Chaisson also welcomed the parade of appreciative cars from a special area designated for her.
