BLYTHEWOOD – Bengals Lacrosse lost Friday’s home conference game against Lexington in overtime by a score of 9-8.
Tied at three after a quarter of play, Blythewood held a 5-4 lead after the second quarter.
Both teams scored twice in the third quarter, but Blythewood held a 7-6 lead heading into the fourth. Lexington outscored Blythewood 2-1 in the final quarter to send the game into overtime, where they secured the 9-8 win.
The loss drops Blythewood to 2-3 on the season, 1-2 in region play.
