COLUMBIA – Kristian Hardy, a senior at Blythewood High School, has been named a semi-finalist for the Ron Brown Scholarship Program and a Regional Finalist for the Coca-Cola Scholarship.
The Ron Brown Scholarship is geared towards students who show dedication to public service and encourage civic engagement. The Coca-Cola Scholars Program is an achievement-based scholarship recognizing students for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to impact their schools and communities.
“Kristian is a hardworking and tenacious student,” Hardy’s school counselor Kimberly Grace said. “Her determination and commitment to not only her academics, but her extra-curricular and community service endeavors, will serve her well in the future.”
