JOHNSTON – The Lady Eagles won their only contest of the week as they defeated Wardlaw Academy on Monday by a 32-15 score. This win improved their record to 4-4 this season.
Taylor Spires and Rayne Williams led the Eagles, each with 10 points. RWA had a 12-9 lead after one half but took control in the second half to outscore the Lady Patriots by a 20-6 margin.
Richard Winn boys also came out victorious against Wardlaw, 58-42. This was RWA’s fifth straight win of the season, all five in the streak have been by at least 16 points.
Hudson Wade was the leading scorer for the Eagles with 29 points to go along with four rebounds and two assists. Darius Boyd was the only other Eagle with double figures as he had 10 points, 12 rebounds and four assists.
The Eagles are back in action on Friday as they face Oakbrook Prep in Spartanburg at 3 p.m.
