WINNSBORO – Midlands Technical College (MTC) is now accepting applicants for the Spring Semester and is inviting all prospective students to learn about the college’s 120+ academic and career programs at a special enrollment event on Dec. 3 on the MTC Fairfield Campus.
Students who attend this event can apply to MTC with no application fee and enroll in an expanded array of course offerings for the spring semester, including courses on the Fairfield campus.
Those offerings include English, math and psychology for students planning to transfer to a four-year university, and classes in areas like health care, computers and early childhood development for students looking to begin training for a career. Virtual classes in science, English, humanities and math are also available at the Fairfield campus or from home via web conferencing.
“The MTC Fairfield Campus offers a high-quality, affordable and accredited education that makes getting a college education convenient to Fairfield County residents,” Todd Gavin, Director of Public Affairs, said.
“Many Fairfield County students could also be eligible for free tuition through the Fairfield Promise Program,” Gavin said. “All students can apply for financial aid and learn about financial aid opportunities including LIFE scholarships, Lottery Tuition Assistance and veterans’ educational benefits.”
To attend the MTC Fairfield enrollment event, drop in on Dec. 3 anytime between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., and see how easy it is to become an MTC student this spring semester.
