WINNSBORO – Fairfield County Breast Cancer Support Group hosts their second Walk-4-Life event Saturday, Oct. 19. Enjoy food, vendors, a live DJ and games for children from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The support group hopes to bring together the community to support one another in the battle against breast cancer.
The event will be held at Mt. Zion walking trail, directly in front of Mt. Zion Institute. Registration begins at 9 a.m. Adult registration is $20; registration for children 12 and under is $5. Proceeds will be donated to Komen SC to help fund breast cancer research and awareness.
