WINNSBORO – Fairfield County Council passed a resolution last week to recognize Oct. 6 – 12 as National Fire Prevention Week. The county’s fire chief, Jason Pope, accepted the resolution from County Council Chairman Neil Robinson and reminded council and the audience of ways to prevent fire injuries and deaths.
