BLYTHEWOOD – Blythewood Tennis (10-0) looks to wrap up their regular season with an unblemished record.
The Bengals took down conference foe Irmo last Tuesday. Hannah Myers, Sophie Carlton, Jordan Slagle and Kenzie Todd all picked up 6-0, 6-0 wins in singles. Emma Horan defeated Surya Swaminathan 6-1, 6-0. Rachel Triutt and Wyatt Britt finished the sweep of the Yellowjackets with a 6-0, 6-0 win in doubles.
Blythewood continued their run through the conference on Oct. 10 and Oct. 14 with more 6-0 wins, this time over Sumter High School and Lugoff-Elgin.
The Bengals will wrap up the regular season tonight with against Spring Valley and will honor seniors in their final home match.
Blythewood awaits seeding for State, but will look to host their first match of the playoffs at home on Oct. 23.
