BLYTHEWOOD – Bengals Cross Country held the Bengal Invitational at their new cross country course last Saturday.
Christian Pearson topped all runners with a time of 17:06.2, and Daniel Turnipseed followed on his heels at 17:59.50 for second place. William Lenker finished sixth at 18:51.9 and Michael Stevens finished seventh at 18:59.20. Naitonio Hare rounded out the top ten in 10th place at 19:38.20.
Mallorie Hogue finished first for the Bengal girls and in third place overall with a time of 20:02.20. Madison Wakefield placed sixth at 21:21.30 and Hannah Mcgrory seventh at 21:37.30.
The Bengals will compete again at the Wendy’s Invitational in Charlotte on Oct. 5.
