CHARLOTTE – Blythewood competed in the Wendy’s Invitational on Oct. 5. The boys team finished 15th of 32 teams with an average time of 18:06. The Bengal girls finished 17th with an average time of 23:37.
Christian Pearson finished first for the Bengals, 12th overall, with a time of 16:49. Daniel Turnipseed followed in 27th overall at 17:35.70. Michael Stevens, Andrew Sullivan and William Lenker finished under 19 minutes.
Mallorie Hogue came in 48th place overall, first for Blythewood, with a time of 21:47.70. Madison Wakefield followed at 23:18.80. Brooke Barker finished at 23:43.50 and Hannah Mcgrory at 23:57.30.
The Bengals compete again Oct. 12 in Camden.
