CAMDEN – Westwood Cross Country traveled to Camden on Tuesday. The Redhawk Boys took third place out of 14 teams.
Jordan Alexander-Coleman finished first for Westwood and fourth overall with a time of 18:09.32. William Tyndall came in 14th at 19:18.09, trailed closely by Joe Eberlin at 19:28.01. David Nelson finished 24th with a time of 19:44/53 and Bryce Strickland finished with a time of 21:07.56.
Westwood’s Girls placed sixth out of ten teams competing. Seventh grader Emma Ashley finished in second place overall, first for the Redhawks, with a time of 22:04.24. Francesca Lingini finished in 26th at 26:03.12, followed by Leayzia Shiver in 31st at 26:30.66. Analisa Athanas finished with a time of 28:28.22 and Katelyn Williams with a time of 28:35.81.
Westwood is back in action on Saturday at the Lake Murray Invitational in Chapin.
