FAIRFIELD COUNTY – This year’s Fairfield County AG + Art farm tour was a homegrown and handmade experience that lasted through the weekend.
Hundreds of families toured 10 farm/art venues that stretched from Ridgeway to Blair as well as five ancillary locations (shops and restaurants) in the downtowns of Winnsboro and Ridgeway.
Sponsored by the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Old English Tourism District, the farms touted farm fresh vegetables, musicians, artists and even a blacksmith.
Co-managers of the tour were Valerie Clowney of Meadow Lou Farm and Brad Hoffman of Gypsy Wind Farms.
