BLYTHEWOOD – The Blythewood Historical Society and Museum placed a historical marker on the site of the original Blythewood School at 501 Main Street on Friday. On hand to speak at the ceremony were Blythewood Mayor J. Michael Ross, Richland County Councilwoman Joyce Dickerson, Society member Jim McLean, Nancy Stone-Collum from the Richland County Conservation Commission and graduates of the original school.
