BLYTHEWOOD – Blythewood was among 23 teams that descended upon Cane Bay High School in Summerville for the Cane Bay Invitational. Nick Rogers finished with a fourth place performance in the shot put and the discus throw.
Payton Manuel also clocked a fourth place finish in the high jump. Manuel also came in fourth in the long jump, and Jaylin Brown was close in behind at the fifth spot. Kayla Ulmer brought home the top spot for the ladies in the 400m hurdles, and the 4×400 relay team also picked up a top finish.
Teleah Moorer finished in second in the 100m hurdles, and eighth in the 400m. The 4×100 relay came in second and Janiya Pinkney came in third in the high jump. Sharell Cherry clocked in at third in the long jump and Kenia Harrison finished fourth in the triple jump.
