LANCASTER – Westwood girls soccer, led by Chelsea Pederson, traveled to Lancaster for a conference game on Tuesday and brought home the 8-0 win over the Bruins.
The Redhawks tallied three goals in the first half and followed up with five more in the second. Senior Jada Pearson tallied three goals in four attempts, Kennedy Goodson had two, and Taleah Hayes, Nevaeh Villanueva and Alivia Martinez each picked up one.
Sophomore Katelyn Williams finished with two assists. Jasmine McConnell, Jaliza Williams, Hayes and Villaneuva each had one assist.
Sophomore Kelin Rodriguez picked up one save in goal.
The Redhawks (4-4) will host conference opponents South Point on Friday at 6 p.m. and Ridge View on March 26 at 5:30.
