WINNSBORO – The Fairfield Central Lady Griffins churned an emphatic region win on senior night against the Chester Cyclones on Tuesday night. The Griffins had three different scorers in double digits, and closed out their regular season home schedule with a 60-20 win.
The win sealed up second place in Region 4-3 A for the Griffins. Senior La’keyn Boyd accounted for 10 points in her final regular season appearance at home, and Cristin Gray had a game-high 12 points.

La’Keyn Boyd came out with the hot hand in the third. She scored six of the Griffins’ first eight points in the quarter, and all of her 10 points came in the second half.
