BLYTHEWOOD – The Bengals boys and girls played host to the Dreher Blue Devils over the weekend. The boys easily dispatched of their visiting for with a massive 79-37 blowout, but the girls fell in a closer contest with a final of 43-53.
Tre Jackson led all scorers on the boy’s side and was one of three Bengals to end the night with double-digit scoring figures. Kamryn Manuel had 12 points and Mike Willams tallied 14 on the night. Julian Phillips also had nine points. Not a single Blue Devil reached the double digit scoring plateau.
Alexis Mims had a team high 14 points, but was the only Bengal in double figures. The Blue Devil trio of Imani Williams, Amber Burton and Sequoia Sims burned the Blythewood defense for a combined 39 points. Williams had the game high 15, Burton chipped in 14 and Sims had an even 10 points.
