Notice is hereby given that an action has been commenced by the above-named plaintiff against the above-named defendant for the cancellation of a Contract for Deed given to Paul Hinton Rogers by Ann M. Lanning dated June 12, 2015 and recorded June 24, 2015 at 1:38:42 p.m. in Book “1196” at Page 166 in the Office of the Clerk of Court for Fairfield County.
The property being foreclosed upon is described as follows:
All those certain piece, parcel, or lot of land, with improvements thereon, if any, situate, lying, and being located in the County of Fairfield, State of South Carolina, fronting on St. Barnabus Church Road, north of the Town of Jenkinsville, approximately 2 miles east of SC Highway 215, containing 10 acres, more or less, and being shown and designated as that 10 acre tract on the plat of survey for William Fletcher Rogers, Jr. and Agnes Dawsey Rogers, dated October 25, 1972 by R. P. McMeekin, RLS, and recorded in the office of the Clerk of Court for Fairfield County in Plat Book 9 at page 34. Reference is hereby made to said recorded Plat for a more complete and accurate description thereof.
LESS AND EXCEPTING all that certain piece, parcel or lot of land, lying, being and situate in the County and State aforesaid and being shown and designated as 4 acres, more or less, on a plat of survey made for John Roper Rogers by William T. Glenn, III, RLS, dated March 21, 1995 and of record in said Clerk’s Office in Plat Slide 605 at page 1122. Reference is hereby made to said plat for a more detailed description of same.
This being a portion of the property conveyed to Paul Hinton Rogers by deed of William Fletcher Rogers, Jr. which was recorded on April 27, 1995 in said Clerk’s Office in Deed Book NK at page 188.
