BLYTHEWOOD – After a tough loss to AC Flora last week, Lady Bengals Tennis bounced back with a 6-0 win over Sumter on Oct. 4 and 6-0 win over Lugoff-Elgin on Oct. 9.
Erica Zipple and Sophie Carlton picked up 6-0, 6-0 wins against Sumter. Jordan Slagle defeated Burgess Dubose 6-1, 6-0. Courtney Lee and Katelyn Krumweide also picked up singles wins and Wyatt Britt and Gaia De Rossi finished 6-1, 6-2 in the doubles contest.
In Tuesday’s matchup against Lugoff-Elgin, Hannah Myers, Jordan Slagle and Kinsey Todd picked up 6-0, 6-0 wins. Courtney Lee and Wyatt Britt also won in singles, and the team of Ella Bolio and Kellie Wyder picked up victories in the 6-0 Blythewood tennis win.
The Lady Bengals are 11-1 on the season and will have their final region match on Thursday at Spring Valley.
