IRMO – The Blythewood girls and boys teams claimed second place in the region 4-5A championship meet. The boys tallied 46 and the girls scored a 47.
Sarah Axtell, Collen Hancock, Chloe Humphrey, Abby Kaczynski, Ariyana Long, Micah Price and Trynity Smith earned all-region honors. The girls 200m Freestyle team of Mya Horace, Ariyana Long and Colleen Hancock broke the school record.
Josh Axtell, Daniel Brown, Joshua Coven, Connor McDonald and Logan Platt earned all-region honors for the boys.
