COLUMBIA – For the third year in a row, the Lady Bengals’ competitive cheerleading team took top honors at Spring Valley’s Viking Invitational on Oct. 17. White Knoll, Lugoff-Elgin, Spring Valley and Irmo high schools also competed in the meet.
On Oct. 20, the squad traveled to Lexington for the Wildcat Invitational, where they competed against River Bluff, Chapin, Lexington, White Knoll, Riverside and Fort Mill. Blythewood finished fourth out of seven.
Next, the Lady Bengals will head to Chapin for the Lake Murray Invitational on Saturday.
