COLUMBIA – Seven candidates have filed for the four seats up for election on the Richland Two School Board of Trustees. Amelia McKie, Cheryl Caution-Parker, James Manning and Craig Plank are seeking re-election. James Mobley, Darrel President Sr. and Theresa Holmes are looking for first time wins.
The candidates will participate in a Candidate Forum Oct. 18 at 6:30 p.m. at the R2i2 Conference Center, located at 763 Fashion Drive in the Village at Sandhill. The forum is being sponsored by the Richland Two Teacher Forum, in partnership with the League of Women Voters. The community is invited to hear the opinions and positions of candidates at the Forum.
The Teacher Forum is made up of past and present Teachers of the Year in Richland Two.
The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan citizens’ organization that does not support or oppose candidates for public office.
