BLYTHEWOOD – The Blythewood Historical Society & Museum is seeking to gather school annuals from the old Blythewood High School as a permanent part of the town’s history.
“We are not sure when the first annuals were published, so if you have knowledge of this, let us know,” Historical Society member Margaret Kelly said.
Annuals are still needed for the following years: 1948, 1950, 1953, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970…the final year.
The Historical Society has a wonderful copy of the 1946-1970 Bethel School Annual in its archives.
Anyone who has copies of the missing annuals and would like to donate them to the archives, bring them by the Langford-Nord House, 100 McNulty Street. Hours are 9 – 4 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The building will be closed from June 6 – June 26.
