“Our guys have hit the ball extremely well this season,” coach Larry Perry said. “They’ve put in hard work since May and earning the number one seed is the payoff for all that hard work. I couldn’t be more of proud of these young men.”
As the number one seed, Fairfield will play the winner of the four and five seed game on Wednesday, July 11 at 5:30 p.m. All the playoff games will be played at Newberry College, located at 1900 Smith Road in Newberry.
“It would mean a lot to these players and coaches for the Fairfield community to show up and support this team,” Perry noted. “Our number one focus is to keep working hard and bring home the championship to Fairfield.”
With a win, Fairfield will advance to the championship game on Monday, July 16 at 5:30 p.m.
