CHARLESTON – Citadel cadets were able to earn at least nine credit hours while living aboard and helping crew Charleston’s iconic Spirit of South Carolina schooner during the college’s first Citadel at Sea program.
Students sailed to the Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Dominican Republic, Jamaica and Puerto Rico from January 18 to April 18.
The following local students were among the 15 that participated in the semester-long sailing-abroad tour:
