BLYTHEWOOD – The Blythewood Garden Club will host a plant sale on Saturday, April 21 from 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the parking lot of the Trinity United Methodist Church at the corner of Blythewood Road and Boney Road.
Plants will include shrubs and hardy perennials suited to the Blythewood area such as daylilies, Lenten Rose (Hellebore), Obedient Plant (False Dragon Head), Oakleaf Hydrangea and many others.
These plants are often called pass-a-long plants because they are dug from members’ gardens.
Proceeds from the sale will be used to fund beautification projects in Blythewood such as the Fence Garden at the Langford-Nord House that is home to the Blythewood Historical Society.
For information or to donate plants for the sale, contact Jeanette Smith at nettasmail@bellsouthphone or (803) 786-2049.
