BLYTHEWOOD – Actors Rhythm McCarthy plays the role of Ruth Steiner and Amy Brower plays Lisa Morrison in Collected Stories, the first stage production of Theatre Blythewood, being performed at Westwood High School Theater. In the Pulitzer-nominated play, Brower’s character writes a novel based on McCarthy’s affair with the poet Delmore Schwartz. The women deal with the moral dilemma of whether a person’s life events are suitable for another to use in their own creative process. The play continues April 20, 21 and 23.
