BLYTHEWOOD – The Blythewood Bengals boys’ lacrosse team finished 8-7 this season, good enough for an eight seed in the 5A State Playoffs.
The Bengals were matched-up with River Bluff in the first round, and the Gators were no contest for the Bengals. They eliminated River Bluff 7-3 and faced Dorman in the second round.
Dorman jumped out to a dominant 6-1 lead in the first period, and the Bengals played catch-up for the rest of contest. Their comeback efforts were stifled at every turn, and Dorman moved onto the semifinals with a comfortable 13-7 victory.
