BLYTHEWOOD – Westwood welcomed 10 high schools over the Christmas break for their third annual Clash at the Castle Tournament. The Redhawks won four duals over the two-day tournament, but Lugoff-Elgin claimed the crown when all was said and done.

The Demons cruised to the championship round, and easily picked apart the Camden Bulldogs, 64-15.

Cedric Brown jockeys to maintain his top position against his Viking opponent.

“Christmas break is where teams compete to get better, and prepare for the big matches in January,” Westwood head coach David Strait said. “We got better as a team that day, and I feel that everyone else who attended did as well.”
