BLYTHEWOOD – The Westwood Redhawks’ baseball program received some good news to hang their hat on before the season even starts. Late last week, senior Ethan Barton signed his National Letter of Intent to play for the University of South Carolina-Beaufort.
Barton has a career batting average of .303 and an on base percentage of .382. In two seasons on varsity, he has amassed 5 doubles, a triple, 13 RBIs and 12 runs.
The program is entering its first season under the helm of Vince Connor but is coming off the most successful season in school history.
