Nearly every week the Midlands’ media frustrate Fairfield residents with stories about more housing developments in the adjourning counties. Apparently, housing merchants are eager to invest heavily in spreading the good life to all of the Midlands, with the lone exception being Fairfield County.
“Why not Fairfield?” is the question we should be asking the developers and ourselves. Honest answers to this question could lead to honest county resolutions to improve our quality of life and spur economic growth and jobs.
Of course, common sense dictates.
“Why not Fairfield?” should be asked and answered before budget priorities are finalized.
