The Pine Tree Playhouse of Winnsboro has been providing entertainment and theatrical opportunities for area residents for more than 43 years. Community theater is perhaps the epitome of a group endeavor and it can thrive only when there is true community support. We are indeed fortunate to be the continuing recipient of such support.
The Playhouse recently completed the first stage of our ongoing Roof and Renovation Project. We now have our new roof and this is the direct result of help from many individuals and organizations.
We wish to thank all of the individual donors who gave so generously during the last three years of fundraising. We are likewise thankful for the efforts of The Pea Pickin’ Hearts, Susan Taylor, AllSouth Federal Credit Union, Tellabrations with Frankie O’Neal, the Winnsboro Woman’s Club, Creighton Coleman, Willingham and Sons, Winnsboro Downtown Merchants, Deb Rollison, Christins Fair, the Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce and especially Justin Speagle of Speagle Roofing.
We will be continuing our renovation efforts and look forward to further success with the help of such a supportive community.
