BLYTHEWOOD (Feb. 4, 2016) — The Blythewood community said goodbye this week to Billy Raines, 73, who served as their Santa Clause in the town’s Christmas parades for most of the last 20 years. Most recently, Raines was named Grand Marshall of the 2015 parade, his last. Raines and his late wife Carolyn started the parade in 1996, with Raines riding one of his beloved mules.
