The Blythewood High School girls’ golf team defeated Aiken 183-191 in their first match of the season Tuesday. Freshman Parker Stalvey led the way with a 40, best among all players, and the team also received solid rounds from sophomore Madelyn Richards (45) and eighth-graders Lindsey Hoile (49) and Cori Langford (49). Blythewood’s 183 was one stroke better than their season-best 9-hole score from all of last season.
