Alyssa Atkerson slides in safely in Monday’s 9-6 win over Wardlaw. The win gives the Lady Eagles a 4-0 region record (11-3 overall) and sets them up for a potential bye in the first round of this weekend’s state tournament. Bailey Taylor earned the win Monday, striking out seven. Anna Connor went 2-for-4 with a double and 2 RBIs, Taylor went 2-for-4 with a double and a single; and Atkerson was 1-for-1.
