Addison Jay Lucas
WINNSBORO – A Memorial service celebrating the life of Jay Lucas, age 79, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015 at First United Methodist Church, 109 W. College St. in Winnsboro conducted by the Rev. Julie Belman and the Rev. Bundy Bynum. The family will receive friends after the service in the church fellowship hall.
Born in W. Hamlin, W.Va., Mr. Lucas was the son of the late Addison Parker and Shirley Hinchman Lucas. He was a member First United Methodist Church.
Jay is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Jane Allen Lucas; two sons, Douglas Allen (Anna) Lucas of Columbia and Milton Todd (Lynn) Lucas of Houston, Texas; brother-in-law David (Susie) Allen of Cincinnati, Ohio; two grandchildren, Taylor Nicole and Addison Parker Lucas; niece Sarah O’Shea and nephew Brent Allen.
