BLYTHEWOOD – The Lady Bengals volleyball team is moving on to round two in the 2014 Class 4A state volleyball playoffs after beating Woodmont in three sets Thursday (Oct. 23), 25-19, 25-13, 25-11.
Gabby Waden had a solid night with 19 serves, 2 aces, 8 kills, 4 blocks and 7 digs for Blythewood. Bijonae Jones led with 15 kills and 13 digs, Di’Ahrah Hall led on serve receives with 19 and Leah Gunter had 19 assists.
The Lady Bengals will now travel to Gaffney on Tuesday (Oct. 28) to face the Lady Indians. Gaffney knocked off Boiling Springs in round one action Thursday.
