WINNSBORO – Graveside services for Eva Davis Stewart will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014 at Greenbrier United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall after the service.
Mrs. Stewart passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014. She was the widow of W.E. Stewart Jr. of Winnsboro and the daughter of John Arthur and Jemima Davis of Richland County. She graduated from Columbia College and did graduate work at the University of South Carolina. She taught in the public schools for 35 years. She was a longtime member of Greenbrier United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.
Mrs. Stewart is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Jen and Watson Wicker, Jeanne and Bill Vickery; granddaughters and spouses Melissa and Andrew Taylor and Jennifer and Matthew Flournoy; great-granddaughters Jordan Taylor and Eva, Claire and Paige Flournoy; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stewart is predeceased by her two sisters and a grandson Edward Wicker.
