WINNSBORO: A memorial service for Ronald Scott Spohn, age 71, will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012 at Pope Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Pete Rambo. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Mr. Spohn died in his home on Sept. 11, 2012. He was the son of the late Herbert Scott and Ellen Rose Johnson Spohn, born in Allentown, Penn. on Oct. 8, 1940. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served as a machinist. Later, he retired from both Ingersoll-Rand and Mack Truck as a machinist.
Mr. Spohn is survived by three daughters, Sheila Faye Clark and her husband Carey of Tannersville, Penn., Lori Kay Smith and her husband Bryan of Saylorsburg, Penn., Dawn Rae Pautz of Nazareth, Penn.; and five grandchildren.
