I take great exception, and was offended by the subject matter in Thursday’s (Sept. 20) political cartoon. Fact is that the “majority” race using what was identified as Welfare cards in said cartoon is Caucasian, nationally. So Romney was plying which race in those cards?
In a very recent fundraising event for the current administration, our president made a personal appeal to “black Americans” for their support and contributions to re-elect their first black president. Can you imagine the fire storm if Mitt Romney made an appeal to “white Americans”?
I had hoped the Blythewood Voice was not part of the mainstream media. I don’t trust nor watch or read any mainstream media outlets. Mr. Denton, I will also lay aside this media source as well. You are in South Carolina, a Red state. Remember this actual fact.
