Blythewood firefighter Keith Barton ( front row, left) retired on June 30 after almost 28 years of service at the Blythewood Fire Station. He retired as a fire engineer. Shown above are some of the area firefighters who attended Barton’s retirement party. Following his retirement, Barton and his wife, Jody, celebrated the occasion with an Alaskan cruise.
