Four Lions Club International Exchange Students visited the Winnsboro Lions Club in Winnsboro, July 17. They were (from left) Flo Cioban from Romania, Paul Girlich from Germany, Noe Jeanne Freiburghaus from Switzerland and Gwennaelle Hanse from Belgium. The boys are staying at the home of Lions Club member Paul Dove and the girls are staying at the home of Gene Clemens. They will be in the United States one month. This is Cioban’s first visit to the U.S. He is 16 and has been helping Dove in repairing roofs this summer for the annual Salkehatchee project. Girlich is also staying with Dove and helping in the Salkehatchee ministry. Freiburghaus, 16, aspires to be a journalist. Hanse, 18, has recently graduated from high school. Her father and mother are both civil engineers and she has a twin sister, as well as a younger sister and brother. She will be attending college in the fall and aspires to be a physician. Her father is an officer in the local Lions Club.
