The Board of Trustees of Fairfield County School District will hold a Public Hearing at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at the Fairfield County School District Office located at 1226 Hwy. 321 South, Winnsboro, regarding the 2012 – 2013 General Fund Budget. The proposed budget for the 2012 – 2013 fiscal year is $33,068,140 compared to the 2011 – 2012 original operating general fund budget of $32,905,211, which represents an increase of 0.5 percent.
Operating millage for the 2011 – 2012 fiscal year is 203.1. The proposed millage for 2012 – 2013 is 206.1 mills. The budget is subject to change based on the final appropriations bill passed by the legislature and the Board of Trustees.
