BLYTHEWOOD – Basketball season is rapidly approaching its end, and that means it time to dust off the bases and head back out doors for the 2018 baseball season. Last season the Blythewood Bengals finished 15-11 and were eliminated from the 5-A District VII playoffs.
This year, the Bengals begin action as the number nine-ranked 5A team, according to the South Carolina Baseball Coaches Association. They lead off the season on Feb.8 against the number-one ranked 4A squad, AC Flora.
