BLYTHEWOOD – The Bengals volleyball squad wrapped up their regular season Thursday with a straight-set win over Spring Valley. Blythewood clinched their fourth consecutive region 5-5A title and number 10 in the past 11 years.
The Mary Hall led Bengals wrapped up the regular season with a 27-7-3 record and dominated regional play with an 11-1 record. Lexington finished tied with an 11-1 regional record, but the Bengals owned the tiebreaker over the Wildcats.

The Lady Redhawks swept through region 3-4A play with a perfect 10-0-0 record, and finished well above second place South Pointe’s 7-3 record.
Ciji Kulhmann’s squad wrapped up the regular season with a win against Richland Northeast in straight sets. They begin their bid to a state title on Thursday.
